Your project, personally managed by Cameron
Cameron is a time-served bricklayer with 13 years of experience. He coordinates the right trades for the job and stays involved from your first site visit through to the final checks on the agreed work.
You can speak to him directly by phone, email or WhatsApp. He keeps you informed about progress, explains delays and takes pride in a neat, tidy site.
I've brought Cam in to do a few jobs over the years: the patio at the rugby club, some pointing on the house, and some help repairing a brick wall. He shows up on time, cleans up after himself, and doesn't mess about. Highly recommend!

Questions about brickwork
Practical answers to help you plan the next step.
Can new brickwork match my existing house?
The aim can be to make the addition sit comfortably with the existing building, but a match needs more than a colour description. Brick size, texture, weathering and mortar all matter. Cameron can review the existing wall and discuss samples with you. The chosen materials should be agreed before ordering, with realistic expectations where the original brick is no longer available.
Does Cameron carry out brickwork himself?
Bricklaying is Cameron’s original trade, and he has 13 years of experience. That knowledge informs how he assesses the work and manages the building stages. He remains your project manager and coordinates the people needed for the agreed scope. Discuss the staffing of your particular project at the site visit rather than assuming every task will be completed by one person.
Can brickwork be included in an open-plan alteration?
Yes, where the agreed renovation involves changing masonry openings or making good around a new layout. Structural requirements need to be established by the appropriate professional, with any required support designed before work proceeds. Cameron coordinates the brickwork with the steelwork and surrounding finishes. The quote records the work included, so the finished opening and adjoining surfaces are understood.
What does a wall-plate handover include?
It means taking the walls to the level at which the roof structure is supported, with the later stages left for you to arrange. The exact work included must be described in the quote for your project. Cameron agrees the condition at handover and any remaining responsibilities, so the next contractor has a clear starting point. It is not the same as a weatherproof finished shell.
Who coordinates the trades on site?
Cameron is your project manager and point of contact. He coordinates the relevant trades for this stage of the work and the building stages around it. You can speak to him by phone, email or WhatsApp. If a decision or delay affects progress, he explains the position and the next step, and checks the agreed work through to handover.
How is the work quoted?
Book a site visit and tell us about the larger project and the work you need. Send the property postcode and any available drawings. Cameron will confirm the visit, review the site and discuss the work and finish to include. Your quote relates to that agreed scope; any variations in work, cost or timing are discussed before proceeding.
What should we agree before this work starts?
An existing brick is more than a colour. Its size, texture, weathering and the mortar around it all affect the match. Cameron can discuss samples and the intended result before the material is agreed. Structural changes need the appropriate design information. Masonry around new openings is coordinated with any specified steelwork and the inspections required for the stages within the project.
